I read from some pastel books that rice is good to clean them so I tried.

知る人ぞ知るですが、折れて汚れたチョークやパステルがありませんか？あったんです。笑 

パステルの本で見てお米できれいになると知り、やってみました。

First, put a 3 one hand rice in a container... 

片手に３杯分程度の米を小さい入れ物に入れて…

Dump dusty chalks or pastels... 

汚れたチョークかパステルを入れます。

Simply stirring around with brush top and rub them with a hard brush on the surfaces. .... and ta da! 

普通にかき混ぜて、硬めの絵筆で軽く表面をこすってください。米が真っ黒になって、こんなにきれいになりましたヨ。(*^^*)
